Arq. Alexandra Betancourt

The architect Alexandra Betancourt, holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Puerto Rico. She worked for Firms like RAY Architects & Engineers, Amador+Calzada & Associates and Emilio Martínez Arquitectos. She currently maintains her private practice and works for Efrén R. Badía & Asociados Arquitectos.

2006: Remodeling of the Bowermister Residence, Calle Luna #403, Old San Juan. Obra + Arquitectura. Design and development of construction documents with Arq. William Ramírez.

 

DECEMBER 2005. Hertz Residence, Canada. Arq. John Hertz. Development of Preliminary and Construction Details of a sustainable log residence for the Dean of the School of Architecture, Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Rio Piedras.

 

SUMMER 2003: Tutor of arts at several summer camps. Colegio de Arquitectos y Arquitectos Paisajistas de Puerto Rico (CAAPPR). Teach children how to appreciate architecture, how to draw buildings, and how to conceive space.

 

OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS

Participation in the exhibition “Dibujo a Mano Alzada” from September 19 to October 20, programmed by the Colegio de Arquitectos y Arquitectos Paisajistas de Puerto Rico (CAAPPR).
